As August air fills the sky and the calendar continues to move forward every one of us has that same thought, summer is almost over. We are almost back to that school zone traffic and breezy cool fall air. Now for most of us adult’s summer isn’t what it was when we were a kid. Two months, no school it was our favorite time of the year now here we are working straight through the prime beach days and looking out or small, slightly fogged office window day dreaming about a time when summer meant sandy toes and tan lines.
Well summer isn’t over yet my friends.
Yes it may be August 7th but no that doesn’t mean the fun must come to a screeching halt. Yearlong fun is the kind of life style we should all be aiming for anyway, am I right? So here are my tips for a fun school year and a happy winter time!
- Don’t just vacation in summer – there are so many fun places worth seeing in the middle of winter!
- Enjoy fall activities – Hey I love me a good Hay ride.
- Think about the things coming you have to look forward to; Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Years. I mean for most adults this is the time of year when we get the most vacation days. ENJOY IT!
- Remember that a nice cold night in cuddled with a cup of coffee and a good book is a good night spent sometimes.
Lastly remember that life is insanely too short and to dread any of it
